EA DICE have given their comments on the controversy surrounding the ability to play as the Taliban against the US Marines in the multiplayer mode of upcoming title Medal of Honor.
The game has come under some fire in the past month or two, with many experiencing the beta released for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. DICE though, who are developing the games multiplayer whilst EA LA works on the single-player, do not think they're pushing any boundaries too hard.
"I think it is a fair point." said producer Patrick Liu, when asked whether statements saying that gamers will feel uneasy playing as Taliban soldiers are fair in the latest issue of PSM3 magazine. "We do stir up some feelings, although it's not about the war, it's about the soldiers."
"We can't get away from what the setting is and who the factions are, but in the end, it's a game, so we're not pushing or provoking too hard."
Whether it will become a huge inconvenience for the game when it comes to sales is still yet to be seen, but it's certainly obvious that some gamers are uncomfortable playing as the Taliban. We'll learn more when the game releases in October for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Every game controversy has two outcomes. Some people get offended, and the game sells a lot of copies. The video game series "Medal of Honor" has been in need of a reboot after a successful run. However, the newest video game in the series has ignited some fiery debate. This is the first in the series that is not set in World War II. I found this here: Latest installment of Medal of Honor stirs controversyThough not new to video games as a whole, the new "Medal of Honor" is set in Afghanistan. However, the video game in multiplayer mode pits players as either coalition (American or British) against opposing players as the Taliban in "Medal of Honor 2010.” People have been calling for a bar, including the Minister of Defense for the UK.

Games often reflect the reality and, therefore, the producers of the games should be very careful as the most number of players are kids and teenagers. It's very important to keep the main moral life principles and to avoid cruelty in order to save the proper viewpoint of every child. They are often so occupied with particular game than begin to transfer it to relity. The psychic of children is very delicate and it's very important to save it undamaged. Otherwise, no money will help you to restore it, even if you apply to cash advance lenders.
