Far Cry 3 was announced when Ubisoft's Kevin Shortt said the game was looking pretty exciting. Now, IncGamers are reporting that the game will not be set in Africa. Though the Official PlayStation Magazine (Christmas 2009, Issue 039) could point to where the sequel to the critically acclaimed Far Cry 2 will be set.

In an article entitled 'Far Cry 3 is coming', it states "...narrative designer Patrick Redding mentioned that a sequel would likely retain an Africa setting, though he also mentioned Antarctica as a possibility."

Interesting. Far Cry 3 in Antarctica could be a huge factor for sales and anticipation. We'll bring you any updates of the sequel.
