Many single-player campaigns seen in first-person shooter titles have come under fire in recent years due to their short length. Luckily, the team at Codemasters has your back, as upcoming shooter-simulator Operation Flashpoint: Red River will feature a campaign around 10 hours long.

Over the weekend Red River game designer that the campaign is “around 10 hours but obviously it depends on the difficulty you play on.”

The sequel to the 2009, ever-so-slightly flawed Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising releases later this year for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. A 10 hour campaign sure is appealing, and the gameplay Codemasters has shown so far is looking promising.
