In its latest ‘Rumour Machine’ column, Official PlayStation Magazine UK claims Treyarch is developing a second Call of Duty: Black Ops title.

“Treyarch’s next COD game will be a direct sequel to Black Ops,” it reads in the OPM Christmas 2011 issue.

Black Ops launched in November last year, breaking records (it was the best-selling game of all time before Modern Warfare 3’s debut earlier this month) and gaining critical claim. Treyarch has refused to rule out a direct sequel for the game in the past, but this gives us a little more hope.
