It’s today been announced that Czech developer Warhorse Studios has closed a licensing deal to power its unannounced, unnamed RPG with Crytek’s CryEngine 3.

According to the developer, made up of a team boasting experience with the Mafia and Operation Flashpoint franchises, says the game will "combine open-world experience with a rich story and innovative gameplay elements."

Co-founder Daniel Vávra, the creator of 2K’s Mafia franchise, claimed, "We looked at every major technology out there and CryEngine 3 suits our needs perfectly. We are confident it will allow us to make the vision for our game come true."
