Previously unseen concept art from within Valve’s offices has emerged online, thanks to PC Gamer, fuelling speculation the Left 4 Dead firm is working on another new IP.

The images were captured during the site’s visit to the company’s Washington headquarters, and show off alien-like characters and spaceships.

Speculation links the art with Steven Spielberg’s cancelled EA Games project LMNO, with the game’s former designer, Doug Church, recently joining Valve. Despite the fact some of the characters seen in the images are similar to LMNO’s Eve, it looks a little far-fetched for the project to be revived. Apart from that, any guess is as good as the other.
