We knew the Nintendo 3DS being perfect was too good to be true, and news over the past 24 hours has proven that.

Platform holder Nintendo has revealed its upcoming handheld device has a battery life of just three to five hours when playing titles 3DS titles. Older DS titles however, will see it last five to eight hours.

That’s not the worst of the news though, as it’s also been revealed that it’ll take three and a half hours to charge, showing the 3D features we all awed at during E3 2010 come at a price.
