Despite emerging hopes for a sequel, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West failed to break the 500,000 sales mark, Namco Bandai has revealed.

The latest figures released by the publisher reveal that the title, developed by Ninja Theory and released for PS3 and Xbox 360 in October last year, sold an extremely disappointing 460,000 units.

Despite quite a few glitches, I loved the game. Others did too, with the game currently sitting on top of an 80/82 Metacritic score. These figures may result in both Namco Bandai and Ninja Theory holding back on that sequel though.
