Still hope for a sequel.

Ninja Theory’s Enslaved Odyssey to the west received a bit of a blow recently as sales figures were released earlier this month.
Starring “Lord of the Rings” actor Andy Serkis aka Gollum aka Smeagol, and being greeted by massive critical acclaim, anyone can forgive Namco for believing they had their hands on a true gaming gem. But unfortunately it hasn’t really worked out in the way they had hoped.
So why the poor sales?
Namco’s Vice President of marketing Carlson Choi believes one major reason is the window in which the game was released.
“We didn’t do a good job finding the right time for it because when you look at the quality of the game it speaks for itself. Quality is key and our mission is to bring the best quality,” He said during an interview with Siliconera. “It launched in the midst of a busy holiday season."
Despite the poor sales, the game received six nominations at this year’s DICE awards, and they’re not ruling out the possibility of a sequel.
Thanks, TVGB.
