Namco Bandai has confirmed that gravity-defying shooter Inversion has been hit by another delay.

The publisher says Saber Interactive's upcoming title is to miss its planned release date of February 7 in order to “allow the team to polish several key aspects of the game ensuring Inversion is of the highest quality."

GameSpot was told a new date, along with additional information, will emerge in an upcoming announcement.

Inversion was penned in for a 2010 release when announced back in 2009. Its development has however taken one or two negative turns. Hopefully it’ll impress when it eventually hits PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
