Capcom is to unveil a high-definition collection for its Devil May Cry series at E3 next week, according to our friends over at Gematsu.

A source has told the site publisher Capcom is readying the collection for release on PlayStation 3 in 10th anniversary celebration of Devil May Cry’s original October 2001 release on PS2.

We’re guessing it will consist of all Devil May Cry PS2 instalments – Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2 and Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening – and will release ahead of the franchise reboot which is currently in development at Ninja Theory.

The source also claims another undisclosed re-mastered collection will be announced. Then again, that’s something we would expect after a flurry of success experienced by publishers with these collections.

E3 2011 runs June 7-9 in Los Angeles.
