EA Games has placed the Mirrors Edge sequel on hold, according to a translated report from .

The game was confirmed to be in development under a small team in mid-2009, despite poor sales of the November 2008 original. However, EA’s Patrick Soderland has now told how work on the project has 'stalled'.

A shame, we know. Next to LittleBigPlanet, Mirrors Edge is the only title from 2008 still on my many shelves of games. And deep down, we know work on a sequel won’t be revived any time soon – if ever.
