Risen 2: Dark Waters announced, coming to consoles
Deep Silver unveils RPG sequel.

Deep Silver has today revealed the existence of Risen 2: Dark Waters, which is in development at Piranha Bytes and set for release on both consoles and PC.
It’s set several years after the events of Risen, and sees all sorts of chaos emerge after “raging titans have devastated the world and pushed humanity to the brink of existence” and “monstrous creatures have risen from the watery depths of the sea and their attacks have brought all seafaring to a grinding halt.”
The hero, Risen’s unnamed protagonist, is now part of the Inquisition and is sent to find a solution for the uproar, as rumours hit claiming that only pirates of the south islands know how to eliminate the creatures.
No release date has been given for the game though Deep Silver, who’s also publishing the web-wide-popular title Dead Island (after that trailer), did release the first few illustrations of the game - check them below.
