The latest issue of PSM3 is reporting that Activision are set to announce the third installment in the Modern Warfare series this April.

The Insider column in the magazine said, "The next in Activision's megaton FPS series will be announced in mid-April." PSM3 continued, "Based on the ending of MW2, we'd be surprised if the story doesn't pick up with Soap and Price on the run, after they were set up by General Shepherd."

Infinity Ward have also been rumoured to be doing a Call of Duty 4 prequel based on Ghost under the title of Modern Warfare 3.
