THQ has announced it will release Vigil’s highly anticipated Darksiders sequel on June 26 across the US and June 29 in the UK, also revealing a few UK pre-order incentives.

Those pre-ordering from GameStop in the US and Ireland and from GAME or Gamestation in the UK will receive the ‘Death Rides’ pack, which consists of multiple side-quests across the Maker’s Realm and Dead Plains, offering up to two hours of extra gameplay.

With Best Buy pre-orders in the US comes the ‘Angel of Death’ pack, which presents gamers with “a unique set of enhanced armour,” as well as an upgraded pair of scythes and an “exclusive visual trail for your companion crow Dust.” That pack’s also confirmed for the UK and Ireland, but we’re still waiting on the decision of a retailer.

Finally there’s Amazon orders across the US, UK and Ireland. Those ordering the long-awaited action hack-and-slash title from the top online retailer will get their hands on the ‘Deadly Despair’ pack, giving a little extra speed to the stallion of protagonist Death for the full length of the game.

Darksiders II is set to hit PS3, Xbox 360 and PC at first, with a Wii U version in development and seemingly set to be a part of the launch line-up for Nintendo’s next home console.
