Mojang has said it has no plans to release Minecraft on PS Vita, despite the Pocket Edition’s success on the PlayStation Certified Sony Xperia Play.

The popular indie title is already available across a number of different platforms, and is heading to Xbox Live Arcade later this year. Mojang’s Daniel Kaplan has however said a version for Sony’s forthcoming portable powerhouse is a no-go.

Vita itself launches across North America and Europe on February 22.
