After months of rumour and speculation the PlayStation certified Sony Ericsson Xperia Play has finally officially broken cover at the Super Bowl with the device touting a February 13th announcement slot at 6PM UK time, one day before the start of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The phone will be most likely sporting a 1GHz Snapdragon QSD8255, along with 512MB of ROM and RAM, a 4" WVGA screen and a 5 megapixel camera. You can catch the Super Bowl advert for the trailer here which was leaked a few days ago.
