Nintendo has revealed it will show its Wii U console at CES 2012 next month, but says not to expect any new unveilings.

In a statement to GiantBomb, the platform giant confirmed it will be present at the Las Vegas convention, but says it will not have its own booth and does not plan “to include any games, experiences or information beyond what was available at the 2011 E3 Expo.”

So, unless you’re yet to try out Wii U, or just want a bit more time with it ahead of release, this news isn’t of too much significance. You can tell it’s Christmas, right?

CES 2012 takes place January 10-13, 2012.
