Mass Effect 3 Associate Producer Mike Gamble has hinted at a fourth title within the popular BioWare franchise after suggesting those planning to play the third should keep their game saves.

"It wouldn't be a bad idea (to keep your ME3 saves),” he said when speaking to GamerZines. "Obviously I can't say anything, but it wouldn't be a bad idea..."

Why does this hint at a fourth ME title? Well, BioWare has previously stated that keeping your game saves from Mass Effect 2, and the decisions made by players within those saves, will affect the decisions on offer in Mass Effect 3. You see the link.

March 6 will see Mass Effect 3’s release across North America, whilst those in Europe will have to wait a few more days (until March 9) to get their hands on Commander Shepard’s latest fight. A demo will be available on Xbox Live – offering limited XBL Gold access – as well as the PlayStation Network and PC from February 14.
