Microsoft will unveil the heavily rumoured Halo: Combat Evolved remake and Gears of War: Exile at the E3 conference next week, UK magazine Xbox 360 World has revealed.

The cover for the magazine’s upcoming issue lists ‘Halo HD’ and ‘Gears of War: Exile’ amongst confirmed titles Hitman: Absolution and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 under its E3 Show Preview.

Halo HD is thought to be releasing on November 11, 2011 – exactly 10 years after Halo: Combat Evolved launched for the Xbox. Gears of War: Exile on the other hand was trademarked by developer Epic Games back in January, and is rumoured to be an on-rails shooter for Kinect originally intended for announcement back at the VGA’s last December, before delay.

So both titles are all-but confirmed. Now we just have to wait for official words from Microsoft itself. Expect that during the firm’s E3 press conference on June 6 (11am PST).
