New Xbox dash to hit UK at 3PM today, Windows Phone 7 companion app too

Major Nelson has confirmed that the new Xbox 360 dashboard will launch today at 3PM in the UK bringing Microsoft's Metro UI to the console.
The new dashboard brings Kinect voice control with Bing search for local content, Cloud storage for save games and Beacon features for online gaming. Video-on-Demand will also see a big push from Microsoft with Lovefilm coming to the console today, with the iPlayer and 4oD coming at a later date.
Also coming along with the new dashboard is a new Companion app for Windows Phone 7 which let you control various features on the Xbox right from your phone.
