An industry source has told Kotaku that Microsoft's next Xbox console will utilise Blu-ray as it's disc medium, and that the console will have an "anti-used game system," something we'd highly doubt due to the backlash it'd get from consumers and the fact that it was also rumoured that it was to be incorporated into the PlayStation 3 before it launched too.

Kotaku was also told that the next Xbox will feature a new version of Kinect with an on-board processor, something planned for the original, which would allow the peripheral to perform more complex tasks and provide more accurate tracking of users.
